not quite six months

My dahling friend texted me and said I should consider updating my blog.

I forgot about this thing!

Highlights of the past six months:


Got to hang out with my buddy Brian, always fun.
(did you know Ryan Gosling sparkles?)


Got to go home to Surf City, USA.
Time with family is important.

Las Vegas was fun both times last year.
Got to see Morrissey for FREE at the Cosmopolitan.

Oklahoma was OK.
Just kidding, it was awesome.
It was sooo good to see Marvis and Leila!

I went back to Chicago for work.
I didn't want to come back to Texas.
I can't wait to return to my windy city.

I just got back from Chicago.

I am in love with that City.

I can't wait to go back.

The weather was rad.

The things to do were rad.

Got to hit up North Coast.

That was rad.

The most beautiful people live in Chicago.

and they're super nice.

I wish I would update here more.

It is just easier for me to tumble and fb from my phone.

I like that my friends don't read this.

Its like being publicly private.

I'll be in California in a couple of weeks.

Hopefully, Vegas for Thanksgiving.

Hopefully Hawaii early in the New Year to visit the mom.

independence day

It has been nearly two months since my last post.

Dear Diary, please forgive me.

I was supposed to be in Austin this weekend. . .

I decided that I wanted to stay at home and paint.

My neighbor asked me to do the coverart for his music stuff.

blah.

Today is a very important day for me:

I have been a former smoker for 100 days.

It is my 21st anniversary of riding a bike without training wheels.

My braces are coming off in four days.

I will be riding down to Tropicano for a swim today.

I have had the most amazing birthday celebration.

This year was top notch.

It feels good to be the originator and not the imitator.

It's getting hot.

I'm ready for beach trips and river days.

Swimming after work at Tropicana.

Maybe we'll have to spend a day of work on a boat.

Who knows.

It has been almost 13 days since my last cigarette.

I lost the ability to drink shortly after.

I have my ultrasound tomorrow.

I'm not pregnant.

New job is going swell.

I have learned a lot, but there is much more to learn.

I'm excited to go work in the Austin office in a couple of weeks.

Just got back from camping in Marfa, Texas.

West Texas is like a whole new world.

It is just like in the movies.

and I like it.

California was fun.

It was good to see family and friends.

Four days is never enough.

Pricing a getaway to Atlanta.

Croatia is temporarily on the backburner.

Getting things squared away to start planning for Barcelona.

Need to start looking for New York in October.

I'd also like to squeeze in Myrtle Beach.

My homie asked me to stand in his wedding!

It will be an awesome celebration of friendship and love.

They are the best couple ever.
